Created with the intention of making a full-sized yet lightweight tripod that can fold down small enough to bring with you anywhere, the Tamrac ZipShot™ springs into action in seconds, so you can capture great photos and never miss a photo opportunity again!

Most tripods are heavy, difficult to carry and slow to set up which causes many missed shots. The ZipShot™ tripod is the answer. Just release the two red shock cords and the legs of the ZipShot™ spring open in seconds to a height of 44" (112cm).

The design was inspired by collapsible tent poles, so that the legs come apart in 4 sections, held together by a bungee cord running through the middle of the tubes. Hold the tripod at the top and let the legs put themselves together! Watch a full demonstration.
